Improve Print Quality (Inkjet & Laser)

Quality issues come from clogged nozzles (inkjet), exhausted drums/toner (laser), or mismatched media settings. Address them methodically.

Inkjet quality workflow

• Print a Nozzle Check; run Head Cleaning if gaps appear.
• Run Alignment to correct banding/offset text.
• Use the correct Media Type (e.g., Glossy Photo) and quality in driver/app.
• Use genuine or fully compatible inks; avoid expired cartridges.

Laser quality workflow

• Remove and gently shake toner to redistribute powder.
• Replace or reset the drum unit if lines/ghosting persist.
• Inspect fuser for wear; replace if toner rubs off pages.
• Use manufacturer‑recommended paper weight and finish.
