End-User License Agreement (EULA)

⚠️ Important: Please read this End-User License Agreement ("EULA") carefully before installing or using Printeroids Driver Updater software ("Software"). By clicking "Accept", installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, Printeroids Technologies grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Install and use the Software on authorized devices
• Access driver database and download drivers for your system
• Receive software updates and technical assistance as provided
• Use the Software for personal or internal business purposes

1.1 License Types

Depending on your purchase, you may have:

• Free License: Limited scanning and detection features
• Premium (One-time): Lifetime license for purchased version with full features
• Premium Annual: 12-month renewable subscription with priority support

1.2 Device Limitations

Your license permits installation on the number of devices specified at purchase. Using the Software on additional devices requires purchasing additional licenses.

2. Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
• Rent, lease, sublicense, sell, or distribute the Software
• Use the Software to violate any laws or regulations
• Circumvent any technical limitations or security features
• Use the Software for commercial distribution of drivers
• Share your license key or account credentials

3. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Printeroids Technologies retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. This EULA does not grant you any rights to patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, or any other rights with respect to the Software.

3.1 Third-Party Content

The Software may include third-party components subject to separate licenses. All drivers are property of their respective manufacturers. We do not claim ownership of any drivers distributed through the Software.

4. Data Collection & Privacy

The Software collects certain information to function properly:

• Hardware Information: Device IDs, hardware vendor information, installed hardware
• Software Information: Operating system version, installed drivers, system configuration
• Usage Data: Scan history, driver installations, software performance metrics
• Account Data: Email address, license information, support interactions

5. Updates & Modifications

5.1 Automatic Updates

The Software may automatically download and install updates. These updates may:

• Add, modify, or remove features
• Change the user interface or functionality
• Update the driver database
• Fix security vulnerabilities or bugs

By using the Software, you consent to receive automatic updates. You may disable automatic updates in settings, but this may affect functionality.

5.2 Version Support

We support the current and previous major version of the Software. Older versions may stop receiving updates, and database access may be limited.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

6.1 No Guarantee of Compatibility

We do not guarantee that:

• All drivers will work with your hardware
• Driver installations will not cause system issues
• The Software will detect all outdated drivers
• Drivers will improve system performance
• The Software is compatible with all system configurations

Recommendation: Always create a system restore point before installing drivers.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Printeroids Technologies SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• This includes damages for loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Total liability SHALL NOT EXCEED the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim
• This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, etc.)

7.1 Excluded Damages

We are not liable for:

• Hardware damage or malfunction
• Data loss or corruption
• System crashes or instability
• Incompatible driver installations
• Third-party software conflicts
• User error or misuse of the Software

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Printeroids Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Software
• Your violation of this EULA
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights
• Any unauthorized use of your account or license

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate this EULA at any time by:

• Uninstalling the Software from all devices
• Deleting all copies of the Software
• Ceasing all use of the Software
• Contacting us to cancel your subscription (if applicable)

9.2 Termination by Printeroids Technologies

We may terminate this EULA immediately if you:

• Violate any provision of this EULA
• Fail to pay license fees when due
• Use the Software for illegal purposes
• Engage in reverse engineering or unauthorized distribution
• Abuse our support services or systems

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Software immediately ends
• You must uninstall all copies of the Software
• Database access will be revoked
• Support services will no longer be available
• No refund for remaining subscription period (unless required by law)

10. Export Compliance

The Software may be subject to export control laws and regulations. You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws. You represent that you are not:

• Located in a country subject to U.S. government embargo
• Listed on any U.S. government prohibited or restricted parties list
• Prohibited from receiving U.S. exports

We participate in Google's advertising network. By using our Software and website:

• Google may collect data about your usage for advertising purposes
• We may use remarketing to show you ads across the internet
• Third-party vendors may display our ads on other websites
• You can opt-out at Google Ads Settings

13. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting support@printeroids.net. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Illinois, except for claims eligible for small claims court.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions.

15. Severability

If any provision of this EULA is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between you and Printeroids Technologies regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.

17. Changes to This EULA

We reserve the right to modify this EULA at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or in-app notification. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
